Student Technology Center Technology Assistant Job Opportunity
   


Information Technology seeks part-time student technology assistants.

Graduate/undergraduate student with excellent communication skills and extensive computer competency to provide students with technical support in the new Student Technology Center located in Hillwood Commons. This is a part-time, maximum 20 hours per week position.   Must be available to work between the hours of noon and 8pm Mon-Fri.

We would prefer someone with hardware and software troubleshooting skills and web development experience, including competence in Microsoft office, and Adobe and Macromedia software.

Also include any URLs for websites you have designed, and any experience/familiarity you have with hardware support.

Must be a highly organized and a conscientious individual capable of taking responsibility for equipment located in the center.

Include the names and email/phone nos. for three LIU references employed by the University who can describe your abilities to work with students and competence with technology.
